All I can say is "stick like a tick," until you suck enough blood (money) out of him to cover every dime he owes you. Never give up, or give in ... that is what he inanely, and insanely, thinks he can drive you to do (personally I don't think he has a clue who he is dealing with Maybe that is how he is able to make all these trips abroad ... it is on the aching backs and calloused hands of all the contractors he has stiffed over the years with his Jekyll & Hyde mentality. Again, just latch on, stick like a tick, suck your money out of him until you get all you are due ... if he needs a transfusion after paying you he can go the emergency room; see if he can get something for nothing out of them.

This one is a slippery one for sure. No contact yet. He may think he's winning but if he gets away to work for 28 days without paying me it will cost him even more. I'm not playing with this clown.

He waged the battle with you ... but I am betting you will win the war and get what is due you. He may try to retreat , but he can't hide forever in your game of hide and seek. Lynn

On Sunday I was preparing to make another run to the guy's house when my wife reminded me of a few things. 1. The guy is a scuz and could claim that I said and did things while there trying to get paid. Things that would get me in legal trouble...not true stuff, but he's a scuz. 2. There is no record to point to of a conversation or phone call. 3. The guy and I have communicated via email and email does have a record to point to. 4. I could lose it and say or do something that I'd regret.
So, with this wisdom, I sent an email to the guy Sunday. It plainly stated the situation and how much the outstanding balance is...and that it needs paid immediatly. We also sent a bill via registered mail today. Hopefully he realizes that I will not go away and that he needs to man-up and take care of business.

You're wife might be right ... it's always best to heed a spouses opinion's for a great many reasons Pond scum (as this guy has demonstrated himself to be) can be like a camellion in relation to his ability to change his colors in his attempt baffle certain individuals (arbitrators, legal representatives, judges, jury's, etc.) with totally his erroneous bull shit; falsely implying he is the party that has been wronged. At least with email there is a legal paper pathway that demonstrates that you are a true professional is seeking payment for services rendered leaving him with the loosing hand due to the cards he dealt. Well...no response to the email and nothing for the registered mail either. In the letter with the bill we allowed until the 29th for payment in full. Then, further action will be taken. This fella is becomin' the arch rival to the Crete Crusader. I have discovered a serious ommision in our contract through this ordeal. I neglected to include a clause to enforce penalties for breach. That's a serious booboo and 100% on me. Too bad 'cause I woulda nailed the s.o.b. with a dandy if I had a legal leg to stand on for that. It will not happen again.

We allowed until the 29th because we fully expect to take this goon to court and I want to show that I have been more than reasonable. The outstanding balance was due by the 4th. Also, did an incognito drive by today...nothing has been done with the driveway yet. It's still a 90' mud run...the municipality will be on him soon. Maybe someone will mention that to the engineer when they're talking Friday. That would be a shame.

Got an email response to the registered mail This scuzz is threatening to sue me He has no legal leg to stand on! He is claiming damages for my leaving his driveway unuseable. I responding to that with "...the driveway would have been complete had the project gone on. The project would have gone on had he paid the second draw as specified in the contract." I also said," The driveway being a 90' muddy mess is of your own doing and yours to deal with." It's all just crap to get out of paying a bill.

Still haven't been paid no real surprise there. I haven't had any response since my answer to his ridiculous email. The landscaper fella that introduced me to this clown has been asked to install paver stones in the driveway. I warned him of what will undoubtedly happen to him...he won't get paid either. I don't know if he's gonna do the job or not. If the roles were reversed I would have contacted him as soon as I was asked to finish the job. First, as a courtesy and second to find out why he wasn't doing it. One of his workers told me about his being asked to do this, not him. When I heard this I tried contacting him right away...it took a while. The worker also informed me that the "customer" was defaming and slandering me. I think that landscaper guy may actually do it. It's time for another bill to be sent with the 30 day interest added. I also think it's time for me to spend some more money on a lawyer. Isn't it amazing how one guy can really cause trouble for another?

You need to teach him a lesson and get your pay and shut him up once and for all. They are out there thank god you got him to sign the contract with conditions he violated. He dropped the ball so make him pay as you did your part!!!!!

I said it before, and I'll say it again ... stick like a tick to this deadbeats skin until you suck out all the blood (money) he owes you.
By the time it is all over he will rue the day he stiffed you, as he is being transported to the hospital for a blood transfusion.

Well, well, well...our boy the "customer" has been busy. I have found out that he doesn't own his house, his Father Inlaw does. Not surprised, I actually expected that. He has made ripping off contractors somewhat of a habit and there are judgements against him. He stole the registration money that he was to "manage" from a PeeWee hockey team...how low can ya get? He had his own consulting biz so it was very difficult for the others to get their judgements satified. I know that he is employed now and can have his wage deducted after my judgement is in place. Isn't he a piece of work?...and I thought I knew about everyone around here.
