We just got back from a 12 day land trip and cruise in Alaska. I am glad I live here ,the cost of living is out of site there and the weather is not of my liking. It rains a lot there and the overcast shies are typical. They have a lot of sunlight hours in a day but not sunshine. Sure would be hard to have a decorative concrete biz there for sure. The warm season is also short, but the views are breath taking and the wildlife is unbelievable, a great place to visit.

My aunt and uncle in Minnesota took one of those Alaska cruises. They really enjoyed the scenery. Would like to make the great escape and do so as well ... but, it is just not in the cards right now. Lindy A

Glad to have you back buddy! I was worried that a polar bear would have ya for lunch. Also glad that you enjoyed yourselves, but my vacations will always involve palm trees.
