Polyaspartic Aliphatic Polyurea can be applied as a sealer in continuous wet areas (sinks, showers, fountains, waterscapes, etc.) ... so long as the water it will be subjected to is "fresh water" (do not recommend submerging in chemically treated water of a pool/spa).
The primary reason for exclusion of chemically treated pool/spa water is that you have no control over ... (1) whether water is kept properly balanced; unbalanced water, having a high PH factor is very aggressive; (2) how they add their chemicals to the water and if they are properly metered/measures; (3) whether their water filtering equipment is kept functioning properly; etc/etc.
