Hi all!! A few of have been talking and decided that it's time for a messageboard that's not sponsored by a supplier. We can talk about any suppliers here as well as techiniques and all of the same stuff we discussed on the other board.

This is brand spankin' shiney new, s give me a little time and I'll try to get things "prettied up".

This is board can be a good thing, I regularly went to a sponsored board but felt it improper to speak ill of the sponsor even when I knew it was true. Personal attacks are not right but pretending right is wrong is something I won't do, so I quit going there and quit buying from the sponsor though I learned a lot on that board.

Yep that's all good and it's good to see ya here. I hope we can help each other out with methods and deals on supplies. Maybe we can get a little foolish and have some fun too...I'm fairly certain that you have a million jokes (just a hunch ), so start a thread and get us laughin' if ya want. ;D

Let "freedom" and "independence ring". No alliances to any manufacturer/supplier ... only "commardaree" between all of us that share common interests; sort of unbiased ground.

Looks like you found something progressively proactive to do while you are recooperating from your back injury and surgery; as you continue to make strides toward joining the outside high definition concrete world at large again.

I logged in to check this out and the first thing I see is a big banner ad for meeting single Arabs. I had to laugh...ya know that this board is free and I have no control of the ads that come on, right? Heh,heh. I am not running a dating service for Arabs or anyone else...HaHaaaHawHaw!! ;D

I think we would all rather be "money makers" that specialize in the creation of high definition concrete ... instead of "match makers" in some strange single Arab circle.

On the other hand if the Arab's (single or not) owned an interest in, or had the power to influence OPEC when it comes to the oil production and the price per barrel, I wouldn't mind having them for a friend. Unfortunately there are other root causes for the high prices we are paying at the pump which come from within the boarders of the USA (and I am sure in your area/Nova Scotia as well), primarily being greedy oil companies that are reveling in gushers of record profits, speculators who pull figures out of the air and have no real basis for doing so, and the governments total lack of action to do anything in regards this insanity that is robbing us of our hard earned money (be it for gas to go about our lives, food at the grocery store, lowing of fuel costs to keep the trucks rolling that supply a majority of our daily needs, etc.)

Don't even get me started on that whole mess. It's complete nonsense and flat-out gouging as far as I'm concerned. Totally unneccesary!
As you know, Lindy..."If you got it, a truck brought it!" Heh,heh. I used to have a shirt with that on it and a sign on my truck.

I agree whole heartly but the oil companies are not the only ones, alot of companies smell
the money and record profits and the price gouging goes on in all assets of our lives. The pie
is almost all cut up with nothing left to go around because the few peices are to big.

Ok, I don't know what the heck happened to the old board, but you know I'm in with you guys. I just need a place to share and vent with people who understand for fear my head would explode otherwise.
