I got an email from Lindy today with the most fantastic analogy. Basically, it compared pizza with our biz and I've never heard/read such an apt one. ;D The whole email got me a fired up and wantin' to get "out there" and get some work. Good one Lindy!  |

I'll email it to all of you right away. Thought all of you are are my mailing list. It went out to well over 500. I am computer/tech challenged as to how to (cut/paste) post it here, without typing it all out.
Sorry for the delay in responding to your posts. Didn't realize that time had escaped me to the point that I have not been here for a period of time. It's nice to be missed by those of you I consider friends and allies.

One of the reasons I have been sort of MIA here is that I have been really busy on the Decorative Concrete Forum www.decorativeconcreteforums.com lately (which I am the Co-Host of; going back over 10 years). Art and I have been making a great deal of upgrades/changes. I have been updating our mailing list and have undertaken my new forum kick off promotion being a Decorative Concrete Contractors and Suppliers 2009 Stimulus Plan (all of which has been quite time consuming and overwhelming to say the least. |

I've been MIA as well. I won't bore you all with details but it is CRPS-RSD related. I've been having a bit of a rough time. When you read the comparison Lindy has made I'm sure that it will strike the same chord with you. I found it to be extremely apt and easy to relate to. If I were pursuing work I'd absolutely use it when talking to prospects.
