I'd like to read other people's views on this reactive stain versus water reducable stain thing. Both have value and attributes and both have negative points as well. I like the color certainty of WRC and the fact that the neutralizing and final rinsing are done away with. For some reason RAC seems "tougher" to me, though. Is that true or is it just in my mind ( a scarey place )? Here's an odd question...has anyone ever heard of a RAC stain that does not require neutralizing?

I really want to start using RAC stains more but we know it has its negatives but I'm looking at the durability factor. as opposed to Water based. I ordered some info from Gaye Goodman in New Mexico and its some good stuff on info. Comes with a binder with loads of info and a DVD, I believe she's the one that helped Chris from Albuquerqe take off when he got started. Anyway good info you might be looking on RAC stains there. She's the one who has me interested on RAC stains.

I got Gaye Goodman's training DVD when I first started. It's very informative...her and her crew do some amazing things with RAC.
When I first got into this biz RAC was king...everyone wanted it. Now it seems that my clients are wanting more color certainty.

Same here, I am eventually going to take up my carpet in living room and do some acid staining Gaye Goodman style or at least try. She is just a an artist with the RAC stains.

Yes she is. That's cool that you'll be able to do that. I've done as much concrete work here as possible. We hope to sell this house and build a new one...if we do there will be much more high def 'crete (thanx Lindy).
