Hi guys! I realize that pricing varies throughout our regions, but lemme bounce this offa all ya'll anyway. The driveway that I talked about earlier is 12' X 88' and I priced it for placing, staining, engraving and sealing. My price is a minimum and could increase depending on color(s) and pattern. This info was included with the bid. There's been no decision made yet and they needed the price so they could cancel a paver stone order if they choose to use me. Also, hubby is working on an offshore oilrig. My minimum bid is $11,484.00. I also said before that I tend to second guess myself, so input here will be helpful. Thanx.

I got a call from Angola this first thing morning. It was the hubby half of that 88' driveway ;D He had a couple of good questions and gave me a verbal go ahead. Cool. I'm glad that my second and third guessing myself didn't cause me to shave the price. In fact, he told me that my price was reasonable. He had done his homework and had lot of options to compare my price with. Does anybody else do this foolish second guessing?

Yeah, maybe it's only natural. I see other guys that are so confident but not overbearing...it's a happy medium I guess. I've had some folks tht were completely shocked when I gave the price to them and I try to be as reasonable as I can. I ask what they were expecting and they don't even know but whatever I said blew them away...and of course I don't get those ones. My pricing starts at $3.00 per sqft and that's regular prep, one color and clear seal. Seems reasonable to me. What I get compared to mostly is this "Granite" and "Hardrock" stuff that Home Hardware sells to DIYers. It's an overlay (for DIYers ) and materials come in at about $1.75 per sqft.
