I've got a job coming up in about a week that involves a soldier course brick border. There are lots of curves on the slab and it's not something that I've actually tackled before. Straight soldier course, yes...but this will be different. Oh...I have the 2500 and a hand grinder...no 'Goose.

Good Luck!!! Just kidding if it helps at all you can probably cut the small grout lines by putting your blade on your grinder and carefully doing the little cuts. Making sure to not cut deep. This could be way faster than trying to line up everything on an uneven turn or curve plus all small cuts for that matter. I don't have the 2500 but have thought of ways to cut brick faster if it ever came to be.

What about your shark on the curves?

I think that the Shark is the answer. I'll make a template to match the brick on the house and "git 'er done" I guess. There are also a couple of brick circles to be cut, I hope that the different textures in the joints aren't an issue. I guess I could go around the smooth ones (cut with the blade) with the Shark to make 'em the same.

Bet ya a cold beer and a medium rare opossum steak that they never notice it.
Cut the head joint with a 2500 and edge follower and funky wheels, and do the brick "sides with the shark.

AHaHaHaa! Good plan buddy! That will work. Is that a Canadian beer or American beer?

If you are here KY domestic would be the only route since anything imported (other than bull manure from DC) is higher than a tank of gas. Of course in the great North it would have to be one of Canada's great beers, 'never met one I did not like.
When drinking those European "beers" I always like to use them when dining on putrified mule or even skunk. That is the only way I can get that Eu beer taste out of my mouth.

OK man...where ever we meet up I'll buy the first round. No fear of it bein' any Euro-stuff, either...it's just bad.

A lot of dry counties in Ky, but it also was the first place I seen drive up liquior stores. Ours back then were State run and you had to go in.

I live in a dry county (except for the moonshine made in several different locales) we have to drive about 25 miles to buy legal beverages. We have some comical laws but we adapt, perservere, and overcome.
We stock up when we go to the liquor stores and several years ago they had a law against "transporting" (for illegal sale). I don't now if that law was repealed or just ignored, but I got stopped several times in the old days with 50- 100 cases but I always got out of it.
I got caught once going into Canada with 30 cases of beer and a couple liters of booze that was not very pleasant. I was tickled that they did not find the 'shine stashed in the water bottles.

It's good that you manage to survive hawhawhaw. ;D I would think that would be unpleasant to have discovered/uncovered at the border. Maybe they knew about the shine but were hopin' to get a smash of it later.

All that said they were pleasant, the US border agents are by and large a hateful lot. If I knew when they were to pass through KY I think I will set up a border "post" and return the abuse.
