Does anyone have a good way to clean vinyl siding without damaging it? We always mask, but sometimes stuff happens and the worst thing is when it goes unnoticed for a while and stain gets to make a stain...or concrete hardens onto the siding. Both of these have happened to us and I have yet to find a product or method that gets it all off. We are getting better at masking, though.

Here is the list of solutions for removing deck stains, paints, copper and rust stains, etc. off vinyl siding...
Best: clear PVC pipe cleaner, apply with sponge, scrub with non-abrasive pad (like you would use on corningware), let set for a couple of minutes, rinse.
Others...
Goo Gone and SOS pad Super Iron Out or Rust Out Orange Goo Gone Hand Cleaner (has pumice in it) Non-abrasive bathtub cleaners like Soft Scrub
Cleaning solutions you can make up that sometimes work ...
1/3 lb of oxalic acid granules and 1 gallon hot water: wet stain, leave 5 minutes, scrub with non-abrasive pad, rinse
1/3 cup of powdered laundry detergent, 2/3 cup Spic & San, 1 quart bleach, 1 gallon water: wet stain, leave 5 minutes, scrub with non-abrasive pad, rinse.
1 part bleach and 4 parts water.
I have also been told that sometimes a high quality white eraser works wonders (haven't tried this personally).
