Howdy folks! What is everyone charging for circles? Stained in a contrast color to the field and engraved into brick....outer soldier course and rings of running bond...inside circle same as field. I have 2 as add ons and am wondering what the rates are. I have charged $100.00 per foot of diameter, but that seems steep to me.

Forgot to mention the "G". Yep that 36" G...he still wants it in front of the front door. Old English font...36"....G. I'm just gonna make the template myself, but what would you foks charge for an extra like that?

I have no idea about the brick circle. I've never done one. Any brick we do changes in price according to whether its one color, semi-matched or matched brick. So I can't say. On the 36" G -- are you planning to engrave it into the concrete or just stain it in? If I was doint that, I'd probably just make me a cardboard template and stain it in, then cut the perimeter of it by hand with the wasp to give it dimension. It won't take any longer than making an engraving template and less material. Usually for a "custom accent" like that I charge anywhere from $200 - $750, depending on the size. That's about a $225 one in my opinion, but for me it's pretty easy and would only take maybe 2 hours work, counting the template, staining and cutting. Hope that helps about like throwing paper on a fire you want to go out. LOL

I did that "G"....did it freehand with stain only and it turned out pretty good if I do say so myself. I did intend to wasp the perimeter for the reason you mentioned but when I went to do it I had no tips left. When I checked before going to the job there was a tip "in" and a spare in the box. I shoulda checked closer 'cause the one that was "in" was done and the spare was a broken one. My son and his buddies had used them and not told me that I needed new ones. Well...maybe they did tell me and I forgot...hard to say. I shoulda looked closer. The "G" is fine as it is though...the client liked it.
